Today, the oldest Paiute Elder along with her daughter and granddaughter voted at the Pyramid Lake satellite office. They were supported by members of the Reno Sparks Indian Colony.
Flora is 100 year old and was 8 when we Natives were given citizenship. What is so amazing about this is it took her 100 years to be able to vote in her tribal capital on her own land.
This gives me strength in continuing the fight for the right.
